Kurt Gheysen
CFO
Kurt Gheysen was born in Menen (°1968), Belgium. He graduated as Master in Applied Economics, major Finance at the KU Leuven in 1990. Starting his career in financial markets as derivatives trader with a special focus on interest rate options. Evolved towards senior management positions in financial institutions heading several trading activities in Belgium and abroad. In 2018, he decided to reorient his career as financial team member of startups. Under the Startup CFO label, he has been working as CFO for several startups amongst which LynxCare and Sweepatic. He has as well experience as financing and funding mentor within the accelerators Startit@kbc and imec.istart.
